Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council seeks an Early Years Practitioner in Fort EYC, Edinburgh. You will provide education and care for children within council policies, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a stimulating learning environment.

This role is regulated work with PVG checks; the successful candidate will join the PVG scheme, support families, meet individual needs, and contribute to opportunities for every child to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme required or update checks may be required.
• Experience working in early years settings or with children will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and care for children within council policies.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to promote a stimulating environment for learning.
• Meet children’s individual needs and support families to enable achievement.
