Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly early years setting in Chelmsford. You will support children with daily routines, learning and development in a safe, engaging environment.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, build positive relationships with children and colleagues, follow EYFS guidance, and contribute to a nurturing atmosphere. Immediate start may be available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and committed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children through play and planned activities.
• Helping to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
• Supporting children's learning and development.
• Building positive relationships with children and colleagues.
• Working as part of the wider nursery team.
• Supporting daily routines and the individual needs of the children.
• Following EYFS guidance and nursery procedures.

Education
