TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for a nursery in Rotherham. Immediate start with temporary terms and potential to transition to long-term for the right candidate.

The role involves supporting children across Early Years, with a focus on learning, development and everyday care, in a positive, safe environment. You should have nursery/early years experience, EYFS knowledge and a caring, adaptable approach for different age groups.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A caring and positive approach to supporting young children.
• The ability to adapt across different Early Years age groups.
• A reliable and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide support within the nursery and cover across Early Years as required.
• Assist learning, development and day-to-day care for children.
• Support a safe, engaging environment and positive relationships with children and staff.
