Job summary

Bright Horizons Southampton Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver engaging activities for our key children, supporting development toward EYFS milestones.

You will maintain a safe, inclusive environment and work closely with families, applying safeguarding principles. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification is required, with a passion for fostering a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Practitioner, plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child to support development toward EYFS milestones.
• You will create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves, engage their minds and foster a lifelong love of learning.
