Job summary

Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Chandlers Ford. You will plan, create and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development and a lifelong love of learning.

The role requires a full Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification, a strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to build trust with colleagues and parents.

Salary Level 2 – £27,009.60 - £27,823.80 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Salary Level 3 – £28,072.60 - £33,020.50per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our wonderful team at Chandlers Ford. At Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford Nursery the team take every opportunity to go on walks in the countryside that surround the nursery. Exploring the woods and seeing the lakes and nearby horses are all regular experiences at our nursery in Chandler’s Ford.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
