Dulwich Prep & Senior is inviting applications for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join the Early Years team on a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027. The role involves supporting all Early Years classes, creating a caring and stimulating environment, and assisting teachers with differentiated lessons, including one-to-one support where needed.

Candidates should have an A Level 3 qualification (DfE) and solid knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.

Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our Early Years team on a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027. This is a varied role, which includes:

• Working flexibly across the Early Years section, supporting all classes.
• Creating and managing a caring, supportive, stimulating and safe environment for the children.
• Assisting teachers in delivering high‑quality, differentiated lessons across the Early Years curriculum.
• Managing groups or individual pupils, including, on occasion, working one‑to‑one with children requiring additional support.

• A Level 3 qualification, deemed ‘full and relevant’ by the Department for Education (DfE).
• Knowledge of DfE Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and statutory requirements.
• Experience of caring for and inspiring children.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
