Job summary

Dulwich Prep & Senior is inviting applications for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner on a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027. The role covers across the Early Years, creating a caring, stimulating and safe environment and assisting teachers with high-quality, differentiated lessons.

You will manage groups or individuals, including one-to-one support, and you should hold an A Level 3 qualification with knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification as deemed ‘full and relevant’ by the DfE.
• Knowledge of the DfE Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience of caring for and inspiring children.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our Early Years team on a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027. This is a varied role, which includes:

• Working flexibly across the Early Years section, supporting all classes.
• Creating and managing a caring, supportive, stimulating and safe environment for the children.
• Assisting teachers in delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons across the Early Years curriculum.
• Managing groups or individual pupils, including, on occasion, working one-to-one with children requiring additional support.

• A Level 3 qualification, deemed ‘full and relevant’ by the Department for Education (DfE).
• Knowledge of DfE Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and statutory requirements.
