Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for private day nurseries across Leeds. The role covers 0–5 years, supporting daily routines and developmental learning in a safe, engaging environment.

ASAP start, full-time, long-term placement with on-site work. The candidate will have a Level 2/3 childcare qualification, Paediatric First Aid, and nursery experience with EYFS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification.
• Minimum of 3 months' experience working within a nursery setting.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines for children aged 0–5 years.
• Contribute to learning and development activities across the nursery.
• Maintain a safe, engaging and positive environment for children.
• Work as part of a nursery team to support caregivers and teachers.
