They are looking for a fun dynamic apprentice to join the team, to support children's development and growth. Make a difference and work towards a level 2 apprenticeship, supported by Realise.

About the Employer

At First Class Nursery School, we are committed to providing the essential foundations for learning, growth, development and fun. We encourage our children to explore their developmental boundaries and independent ways of thinking within our nurturing environment. Providing a first-class service to our children and their families since 1995.

What You'll Do

Established in 1995, First Class Nursery School is located in Prenton on the Wirral Peninsula and reflects the rich backgrounds and cultures of our local area and beyond.

As an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice, you will play an important role in supporting the welfare, safety, and development of children, ensuring that any safeguarding concerns are reported appropriately. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging, purposeful play activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to support children’s learning, including their literacy, numeracy, and language development. Working closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies, you will help ensure that each child’s individual needs are met while promoting healthy lifestyle choices through play. You will use your understanding of child development and strong communication skills to engage with all children, including those who may require additional support, and help them through key transitions such as starting school or changes at home. The role also includes supporting respectful care routines, such as feeding, nappy changing, and dental care. Your trainer assessor will meet with you regularly to provide teaching, learning and feedback from assessments completed. To support your progress you will be required to complete a reflective journal of the learning you have undertaken and discuss this with your trainer assessor. If you’re passionate about shaping young lives through nurturing care and play-led learning, we’d love to hear from you!

Training Outcome

Completing a Level 2 Early Years qualification unlocks roles with more responsibility, including planning, leading activities, and working more independently in line with EYFS standards.
