Job summary

Brighton College Prep Hove is seeking an Early Years Practitioner and After School Club Supervisor to start as soon as possible on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. The role is full-time, term-time only, within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Candidates must hold a level 3 qualification or above and will work closely with teachers, supporting planning, interventions, and the school’s co-curricular programme, including the Rockhoppers group after school.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 qualification or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Experience in arranging and setting up learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan termly and weekly learning with teachers and staff.
• Apply EYFS knowledge to support pupil development.
• Set up learning environments, including outdoor areas, for engagement.
• Observe children individually and in groups and record notes.
