Job summary

Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our Ofsted Outstanding setting. You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development toward milestones while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

The role emphasises inclusive learning and strong partnerships with families. Applicants should hold a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification, demonstrate a passion for play-based learning, and uphold safeguarding

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection awareness.
• Ability to develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Create a safe environment to allow children to express themselves and foster a love of learning.
• Monitor development towards key milestones and adjust activities accordingly.
