Are you a kind, energetic, and nurturing person who loves working with young children? We're looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery in Winchester, where play, learning, and laughter are part of everyday life.
This is a warm and friendly nursery that puts children at the centre of everything they do. The team is passionate about helping every child feel safe, valued, and curious about the world around them. Through play-based learning and positive relationships, the nursery supports children to grow in confidence, independence, and creativity.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll be a key part of a dedicated and caring team. You’ll:
Support children aged 0–5 with their learning, play, and care routines
Help deliver engaging, fun, and age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS
Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment both indoors and outside
Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and your team
Observe and celebrate each child’s progress and support their individual needs
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent
Some experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
A caring, cheerful attitude and a love for working with young children
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Team spirit and excellent communication skills
A supportive and friendly working environment
Training and development opportunities to help you grow
