Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a lovely, nurturing Nursery in Romsey. The successful candidate will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all children in their care and support active learning, creativity, and exploration.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

1. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
2. Support the daily routines and care of children.
3. Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
5. Maintain a clean and organised classroom.

Position: Early Years Practitioner

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 4 days per week

Essential & Desirable Qualifications/Requirements:

• Level 2 qualified - ESSENTIAL
• Level 3 qualified - DESIRABLE
• Experience in an EYFS setting - ESSENTIAL
• Experience supporting the development of SEN learners - desirable

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide references upon request
• Possess up-to-date Safeguarding Training or be willing to undertake this
