Job summary

Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver structured activities, support development through EYFS-aligned practice, and uphold safeguarding standards. You will foster inclusive, nurturing environments where children can explore and grow, while partnering with families and staff to support each child’s learning journey. A DBS check is required, and career progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 3+ Early Years qualification.
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to build trusting partnerships with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Provide a safe, inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning.
• Maintain safeguarding and document relevant activities with the level of detail required by the setting.
