Best in Class is seeking an Early Years Practitioner in Bradford to support children aged 0–5 in a welcoming nursery or setting. Roles available part-time or full-time, with salary of £93–£100 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in early years/nursery/childcare settings.
  • Early Years/Childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) desirable.
  • Caring, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

  • Encourage social, emotional, physical and educational development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Support development in line with EYFS framework.

  • Observe progress and contribute to learning records and assessments.
  • Support children’s personal care needs where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote children’s confidence and independence.
  • Work as part of a supportive early years team.

Early Years Practitioner – Part-Time & Full-Time

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK
Salary: £93–£100 per day
Contract: Part-time or Full-time

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming nursery or early years setting in Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s development and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0–5.
  • Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.
  • Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records and assessments.
  • Support children’s personal care needs where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote children’s confidence and independence.
  • Work as part of a supportive early years team.
About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working with children in an early years, nursery or childcare setting.
  • A relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3, is desirable.
  • A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
