Job summary

MP Training and Recruitment is seeking a Nursery professional in Bishopbriggs to provide high-quality childcare and early education. You will plan and implement engaging activities tailored to children's needs, creating a safe environment fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Job description

Overview

Nursery – Bishopbriggs – Salary: £29,619 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience). Location: Glasgow. Bright Horizons Bishopbriggs Early Learning and Childcare is a long‑established nursery providing high‑quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The setting welcomes children from 3 months to 5 years and includes spacious indoor learning areas and large outdoor gardens with resources such as a mud kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to encourage development towards key milestones.
  • Create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Qualifications
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
