Noak Bridge Pre-school, Breakfast and Afterschool Club, and Out of School Clubs are seeking an enthusiastic qualified Early Years Practitioner with a minimum Level 3 qualification to join our team.
We are a longstanding community pre-school in Noak Bridge Village, a non-profit charity governed by a parent volunteer committee. We provide childcare for Noak Bridge and surrounding areas, including Laindon, Basildon, Wickford, and Billericay. Childcare services include breakfast and afterschool clubs, pre-school sessions, and holiday camps, located within Noak Bridge Primary School grounds. You will become an integral part of a dedicated team.
This is a full-time, year-round position, working 35 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.
The preschool operates from 7 am to 6 pm, and holiday camps run from 9 am to 4 pm during non-term times, with hours coordinated to suit. The setting is open 49 weeks annually.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff must adhere to our safeguarding policies and procedures.
Applicants will need to provide proof of right to work in the UK, undergo an enhanced DBS check, and provide references and a certificate of good conduct where applicable. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974), requiring disclosure of any convictions.
Noak Bridge Pre-school, located within Noak Bridge Primary School grounds, has its own secure, child-friendly indoor and outdoor areas. With over 40 years in the community and more than 20 years on the school grounds, we are fully registered and OFSTED-rated 'Outstanding' as of October 2024.
Our services include Breakfast Club, Pre-School sessions, After School Club, and Holiday Clubs, operating from 7 am to 6 pm during term time and 9 am to 4 pm during non-term periods, for 49 weeks annually. We prioritize a nurturing, fun, and explorative environment where every child's voice is valued and learning is through play.
