Qualifications

  • Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive learning environment.

Salary – Starting from £27,310.40 - £28,392 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: Mon-Fri | 40 Hours Per Week (Option to complete 40 hours over 4 days)

We’re looking for a Full Time Early Years Practitioner to join our Haddenham Day Nursery. The nursery newly opened in September 2021 and benefits from good public transport links by train and car, based 6 miles from Aylesbury and just 7 miles east of the M40 junction 7, and there is plenty of onsite parking. It's close to local amenities, including a small supermarket right next door!

The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' and features 5 lovely rooms, a large garden area and an external balcony area with fantastic views!

The Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
