Job summary

Bright Horizons St Marys Abingdon Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our Good Ofsted-rated setting in Abingdon. You will plan, create and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 2+ Early Years qualification and a strong EYFS understanding, with safeguarding at the core. Join a caring team and help children grow with confidence.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Maintain a safe environment that supports expression, exploration and learning.
