Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner in Harpenden. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities, promoting safety and development aligned with EYFS, and building strong partnerships with families.

You will join a Good-rated nursery with a warm, Victorian setting and a large outdoor space. Benefits include generous leave, pension, and development opportunities, plus a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Support development toward EYFS milestones with monitoring and feedback.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment that nurtures a love of learning.
• Record observations and contribute to ongoing planning and assessment.
