Job summary

Bright Horizons is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for the St Marys Abingdon Day Nursery in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The nursery cares for 114 places for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with dedicated arts/crafts spaces, reading corners and a large garden.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, reflect on outcomes, and work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's development, requiring a Level 2+ Early Years qualification and safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each of your key children to support development towards milestones

Salary – Starting from £27,310.40 - £28,392 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our St Marys Abingdon Day nursery. Our Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Nursery offers 114 places caring for children of 3 months up to 5 years and includes arts and crafts area’s, reading corners, imagination area’s and a large garden that includes vegetable patches and a climbing frame!

The Role:
