Job summary

Lamphey Primary School is seeking a Playgroup Assistant to support access to learning for all children aged 2-3, including those with special educational needs. The role works under the Playgroup Leader to help manage activities and ensure a welcoming, secure environment.

Salary is Grade 3, £26,427 pro rata, and the post is casual. Applicants should have GCSE level literacy and numeracy or equivalent, with prior experience caring for young children. A DBS disclosure check is required.

Qualifications

• GCSE level literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
• Interest in children's development and welfare.
• Experience working with or caring for children aged 2–3 in paid, voluntary or domestic settings.
• CCLD Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 desirable.
