Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for Wimbledon, offering 16–32 hours per week in the afternoons across 4 or 5 days. The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years and a passion for creating safe, stimulating learning experiences for young children.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Experience in nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.
