Qualifications

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Teaching/lecturing experience within Further or Higher Education and/or Early Years sector experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years sector.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to professional development.
  • Teaching qualification and professional experience in Early Years would be desirable.

The Supply Register are working in partnership with NCG to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Lecturer to join the team at Lewisham College.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional and educator to inspire students and support them in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into successful careers.

The Role

As an Early Years Lecturer, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Early Years programmes.
  • Plan engaging lessons and create effective learning resources.
  • Provide tutorial and pastoral support to help students achieve their potential.
  • Assess students' work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, schemes of work and continuous improvement.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and committed to helping students succeed.
