Job summary

Neat Academy Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Early Years PSED specialist to support 0–4-year-old settings. You will deliver the PSED programme content with rigour, adapting to educators' prior experience while modelling a positive attitude.

You will lead professional development, mentor colleagues, and promote evidence-informed practice across PVIs and school-based settings. The role requires strong communication and collaborative working within a team.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in early years or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of PSED learning with clear communication.
• Experience with children aged 0–4 in early childhood education.
• Experience with PVIs, childminders or school-based settings.
• Experience leading professional development in PSED.
• Mentoring or coaching experience.
• Evidence-informed practice and resource identification.
• Understanding safeguarding within EYFS framework.
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.

• Experience of working with children aged between 0 to 4years old in an early childhood education context.
• experience working in, or with, a range of differentchildcare provider types (i.e. PVIs, childminders, schoolbased settings).
• Experience of leading professional development in earlyPSED.
• Experience of mentoring others or using a coachingmodel of support, demonstrating the ability to build andnurture professional relationships.
• Understands the importance of evidence-informedpractice and able to identify evidence-informedapproaches, training and resources.
• Understands the safeguarding requirements within theEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutoryframework.
• Able to deliver the key programme content with rigourwhilst being responsive and sensitive to educators'needs and prior experiences.
• Aspirational to support the improvement/facilitate thedevelopment of the quality of PSED practice.
