Job summary

Neat Academy Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a qualified early years professional to lead maths development in the 0–4 age range. You will apply Level 6 qualifications, share extensive knowledge of early maths, and model a positive attitude to maths for educators and settings.

You will deliver professional development, coach colleagues, and collaborate with local authorities to design delivery plans addressing the needs of early years settings.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification is required.
• Extensive knowledge of early mathematics learning and the ability to communicate this clearly to educators and settings.
• Completed professional development in the Early Years Professional Development Programme (EYPDP) maths module.
• Completed professional development in the Early Years Child Development Training (EYCDT) maths module.
• Experience with children aged 0–4 in an early childhood education context.
• Experience leading professional development in early maths.
• Experience mentoring others or using a coaching model of support.
• Experience developing and implementing delivery plans with input from key stakeholders including local authorities across multiple areas.
• Understands safeguarding requirements within the EYFS statutory framework.
