Junior Adventures Group is seeking an Early Years Lead to inspire and supervise activities at Barnes Primary School, Richmond. The role runs term-time only, with 17 hours per week and the possibility of extra casual hours.

The position requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification and a commitment to safeguarding and quality play-based learning. You will plan, lead and deliver storytelling, arts, sensory play, games and outdoor adventures, while supporting wellbeing and development for our

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• You will confidently lead Early Years activities.
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding compliance required.

Responsabilités

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
• Plan, lead, and deliver fun, structured activities like storytelling, creative arts, sensory play, group games, and outdoor adventures.
• Support children’s development and wellbeing through engaging, age-appropriate experiences.
• Be a role model of safeguarding and follow Health & Safety policies at all times.
• Provide healthy snacks and support toileting and hygiene routines.
• Set up and tidy play spaces and adapt environments for activities.
• Maintain accurate records (accident/incident forms, observations, registers).
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools, and your team.
• Promote early years best practice and nurture love for learning through play.
• Uphold confidentiality and high standards of child protection.
