Herefordshire Council is seeking a Best Start in Life Inclusion Practitioner to join the BSIL Inclusion Team in the Early Years SEND Inclusion Service. The role focuses on supporting children and families accessing services, groups and Family Hubs, helping to remove barriers to academic achievement.

The successful candidate will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent, have substantial early years experience and strong knowledge of SEND in the Early Years, and be willing

Formación

• Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
• Substantial early years experience.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Graduated Approach and SEND Code of Practice (2015).
• Willing to travel across Herefordshire and work collaboratively across services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality advice and guidance to families, professionals, early years settings and schools.
• Support children and families accessing services, groups and Family Hubs.
• Collaborate across services to improve outcomes for young children with additional needs.
