Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool in London is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children, staff and families. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in bathrooms and shared areas while supporting daily nursery tasks.

The role requires practical cleaning experience, a Food Safety Level 2 certification on day one, and knowledge of COSHH and health and safety.

• Previous experience of cleaning in domestic or commercial property.

Salary – Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We're looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool. Our nursery is situated in Haringey, London.

Our 79-place nursery features two exciting outdoor areas, which are specifically design to be age appropriate, including its own beach, outdoor classroom, jungle walk and look-out tower! Our nursery is located very close by to Crouch Hill Overground Station and also near by to the Victoria line!

The Role

As an Early Years Housekeeper, you will keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, colleagues, and families. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children's bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day, carry out daily laundry as required, and be prepared to help with additional nursery tasks where required, such as supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents
