Job summary

Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford nursery is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, ensuring a clean, safe environment for children, staff and families.

You will manage daily laundry, maintain hygiene in bathrooms and assist with mealtime tasks and general cleaning of equipment. The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience in domestic or commercial settings, with Food Safety (CIEH L2+) and COSHH knowledge, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Food Safety qualification (CIEH L2+ or equivalent).
• COSHH and Health & Safety knowledge essential.
• Strong communication with colleagues, children and parents.
• Previous cleaning experience in domestic or commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children and staff.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in bathrooms and changing areas.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Assist with nursery tasks during mealtimes and equipment cleaning.
