Job summary

Bright Horizons Farnham Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, manage daily laundry, and assist with additional nursery tasks as needed throughout the day.

The role requires previous cleaning experience in a domestic or commercial setting and a Food Safety Level 2+ certificate or equivalent, plus COSHH and health and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety Level 2+ (CIEH) or equivalent must be passed on day 1.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
• Great communication skills with colleagues, children, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, staff and families.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and nappies areas.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Support with mealtimes and cleaning of equipment when needed.
