Job summary

Airfield Primary Academy is recruiting an Early Years Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support Nursery and Preschool provision. You will help deliver engaging activities, monitor progress and work under supervision to ensure high-quality childcare and education in a safe, inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 EY Educator qualification with strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and knowledge of EYFS safeguarding requirements.
• Recent experience in Early Years with EYFS implementation.
• Ability to engage children one-to-one, in groups and as a whole class.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver agreed learning activities in Nursery and Preschool.
• Monitor, assess and support children’s progress, adapting approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and Early Years team to plan and evaluate learning.
