Zusammenfassung

Newham’s Children’s Centres are seeking a temporary Children’s Centre Family Engagement Worker to support families with children aged 0-5. You will assess needs, develop family plans, and deliver outreach, home visits, and evidence-based programmes focusing on home learning, parent–infant relationships, perinatal mental health and parenting capacity.

You will input into practice guidance and recording, with opportunities to contribute to group sessions.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with 0–5-year-olds and their families.
• Commitment to safeguarding and equality, inclusion principles.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to use ICT.

Aufgaben

• Assess family need and develop jointly-owned family plans.
• Deliver interventions across community venues including family home visits.
• Maintain high-quality, accurate case notes and records.
• Promote equality, diversity and safeguarding in practice.
• Support delivery of universal group sessions where capacity allows.
