Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Grade 6C Early Learning and Childcare practitioner to contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting in Kelso. This 35-hour-per-week, permanent role offers a salary within £30,880 to £33,344 per annum.

You will meet essential qualifications, support CPD, and collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality learning experiences for children in our community.

SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children's Care, Learning & Development

Applicants with an SNNEB/NNEB may be considered where they can evidence a record of on-going CPD during the past 5 years

All successful applicants for early learning and childcare posts will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
