Job summary

Pippa Pop-ins is seeking Qualified Level 3 practitioners to join the team at the brand new Princedale Road setting in Holland Park. The role involves providing high-quality care and EYFS-based education to children aged 0-5, with 40 or 45 hours per week term time only (41.8 weeks).

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
• Experience in nursery or childcare setting
• Patience, empathy and love for working with children
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and legislation

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
