Job summary

Fennies Day Nurseries Ltd in Oxted is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to create a nurturing, inspiring learning environment for young children. You will deliver EYFS-aligned education, build strong relationships with families, and support each child’s learning journey with a collaborative team.

You’ll join a community that values development, wellbeing and recognition, offering flexible 4- or 5-day weeks and a clear pathway for progression within a family-owned group.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters and child development
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)– or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A warm, positive approach to building relationships with children and families

Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning and development through engaging experiences and learning moments
  • Deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters and the Fennies curriculum
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team culture
  • Observe, assess and support each child’s individual learning journey
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health and safety at all times

About the Role

As an Early Years Educator, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive.

You will:
  • Support children’s learning and development through engagingexperiences and learning moments

You’rean enthusiasticand caring educator who is passionate about giving children the best possible start in life.

You will have:

  • Level 2 orLevel 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
