Job summary

N Family Club in Reading, Berkshire is seeking an enthusiastic early years educator to support our play-based N Curriculum. The role focuses on inspiring learning, supporting daily routines, and planning development-focused activities within a safe and engaging classroom.

The ideal candidate has experience in early-years settings, Level 2 Early Years qualification, Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding knowledge, and a passion for education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an early-years environment.
• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to train.
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh).
• Genuine passion for education and a drive to change children’s lives.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset.
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning through our play-based N Curriculum.
• Support smooth daily routines – from mealtimes to naptimes.
• Create and implement development-focused activity plans.
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with children and families.
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and engaging environment at all times.
• Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
