Job summary

LJ Recruitment is hiring an Early Years Educator in the United Kingdom. You will support children's learning, development and wellbeing, taking responsibility for a key group of children and encouraging curiosity, creativity and confidence.

You will work closely with colleagues and families to create a positive, inclusive environment where every child can flourish and feel safe and valued. The role offers a welcoming team and the chance to make a real difference daily.

Qualifications

• Applicants MUST have a recognised Level 2 Early Years qualification or above.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 or equivalent.
• Desirable: Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification and Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing in line with EYFS.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities to foster curiosity, creativity and confidence.
• Build warm relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Monitor progress through observations and records.
• Prepare developmental reports and maintain the setting's online system.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice.
• Ensure safety, health and wellbeing, including allergies and medical needs.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a high‑quality early years environment.
• Contribute to the setting's ethos and continuous improvement.
