Job summary

Ministeps Daycare Nursery is seeking a dedicated Nursery Educator to deliver high-quality early years education on-site in Luton. The role involves planning age-appropriate activities, supporting children's development, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

You will observe progress, communicate with families, and work with colleagues to implement the nursery's curriculum and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Teaching and Education, with experience supporting early years learning and child development.
• Ability to plan and deliver effective Lesson Planning and Training activities tailored to different ages and needs.
• Strong Communication skills, including clear, respectful interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant early years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent).
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice in early years settings.
• Ability to work as part of a team, show initiative, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Experience in a nursery, preschool, or similar childcare environment is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities to support children's development.
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth in daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Observe and record progress, and communicate with families about development.
