Job summary

Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our client’s childcare team. You will support development, well-being, and daily routines in a nurturing environment.

You will assist with activities, supervise children, and communicate with parents, while upholding high standards of care and health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualifications or certifications preferred.
• Experience with early years development and safeguarding good practice.
• BA or QTS credentials considered in addition to childcare qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's development.
• Assist in supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about progress and daily experiences.
• Support management in implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.

Overview

We are seeking a Early Years Educator to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, fostering positive interactions, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met.

Duties and Responsiblities include,

• Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assist in supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effective with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
• Support management in implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.
• Contribute to the management of daily routines and assist with administrative tasks related to childcare documentation.

Requirements

• Childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare). Or BA in Early Years Education from Uk or Overseas or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification.
