LJ Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children's development and wellbeing within a warm, safe setting. You will manage a key group of children, fostering curiosity and confidence while collaborating with colleagues and families to create a nurturing learning environment.

You will follow EYFS guidelines, document progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere. The role emphasizes safeguarding, teamwork and delivering engaging activities daily.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 2 Early Years qualification or above.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Support children's individual learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence.
• Build warm, positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Monitor children's progress through observations, assessments and developmental records.
• Prepare accurate developmental reports and maintain records using the setting's online system.
• Promote positive behaviour, social skills and inclusive practice.
• Ensure children's safety, health and wellbeing, including awareness of allergies, dietary requirements and medical needs.
• Follow safeguarding procedures, health and safety policies, hygiene standards and risk assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a high-quality early years environment.
• Contribute positively to the setting's ethos, values and continuous improvement.
