Qualifications

• Experience in early years education or equivalent setting.
• Familiarity with the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Facilitate engaging activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social interaction.
• Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and other statutory frameworks.
• Manage daily routines, ensuring the well-being of each child in your care.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external agencies regarding children's development and needs.
• Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and fostering a sense of community within the nursery.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Have an exceptional understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
