Job summary

Loughborough University Nursery in the heart of campus is recruiting an Early Years Educator to join a nurturing, values-led team where play, inclusion, and children's voices are celebrated. This is a full-time position supporting a 100-place nursery serving university staff, students and the local community.

The role requires Level 3, 37.5 hours per week, shifts 7:30am–6:00pm, and prior EYFS experience in a 0-5 setting.

Qualifications

• Full-time role requiring 37.5 hours weekly.
• Salary £27,259.77 per annum.
• Level 3 and EYFS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and document children's development to inform planning.
• Champion inclusive practice and adapt environments to meet diverse needs.
• Mentor Foundation Practitioners and students as appropriate.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to team planning, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
