Job summary

Realise Training is recruiting for an Early Years Educator Apprentice at Toad Hall Nursery in Berkhamsted. This Modern Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while working toward the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with full-time hours and a 14-month duration.

You will join a supportive team, gain practical childcare skills, learn EYFS routines, safeguarding, observations, and contribute to planning and caring for children from birth to five years old.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or higher, or willing to complete functional skills.
• Interest in working with children and developing caring skills.
• Willingness to learn on the job and complete the Level 3 Apprenticeship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and evaluate activities for children from birth to five years.
• Care for children within a key person structure.
• Ensure the environment is stimulating with displays and resources; promote equal opportunities.
• Support nursery checks and safeguarding duties.
• Assist with EYFS implementation and daily routines.
