MiChild Group is seeking an Early Years Educator to join Meadow Nursery on a 24-hour, 3-day-per-week schedule (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). You will deliver high-quality early years education in a nurturing setting focused on child development and safeguarding.

Ideal candidates hold UK Level 3 EY qualification, understand EYFS, and are committed to compassionate, standards-based care. Rotating early/mid shifts and a supportive, award-winning team are provided.

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness.

Responsibilities

About MiChild at Meadow Nursery

Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. With excellent public transport links and free onsite parking, we're easy to get to whether you drive or take public transport.

Our setting includes four well-equipped rooms, each tailored to a specific age group and led by a team trained specifically for that developmental stage, we support our team to feel confident within the age group they work with and support training needs. We also have a spacious outdoor garden spaces that are thoughtfully separated to suit different age groups, ensuring safe and enriching outdoor play for all. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces.
We're especially proud of our dedicated preschool room, where children prepare for their school transition together in a supportive, structured environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness

**Please note this is a 3 day a week position, working 24 hours per week**

Shift Patterns: This role operates on a rotating weekly shift schedule to ensure coverage and flexibility. You will alternate between early and late shifts on a week-by-week basis.

• Early Shift: 7.30am -4.00pm
• Middle Shifts: 8.00am -5.00pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm
