MiChild Group's Meadow Nursery in Blackpool is seeking an Early Years Educator to join on a 3-day week (24 hours) with shifts Tue, Thu, Fri, including early and late slots.

You will deliver high-quality early years education under the EYFS framework, maintain safeguarding standards, and work as part of a supportive team in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support children's development following the EYFS framework.
• Deliver high-quality, nurturing care across age-appropriate activities.

About MiChild at Meadow Nursery

Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. With excellent public transport links and free onsite parking, we’re easy to get to whether you drive or take public transport.

Our setting includes four well-equipped rooms, each tailored to a specific age group and led by a team trained specifically for that developmental stage, we support our team to feel confident within the age group they work with and support training needs. We also have a spacious outdoor garden spaces that are thoughtfully separated to suit different age groups, ensuring safe and enriching outdoor play for all. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces.
We’re especially proud of our dedicated preschool room, where children prepare for their school transition together in a supportive, structured environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness

**Please note this is a 3 day a week position, working 24 hours per week**

Shift Patterns:

Early Shift: 7.30am -4.00pm

Middle Shifts: 8.00am -5.00pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm

Late Shift: 9.30am-6.00pm

*If you're not yet Level 3 qualified, we may have alternative roles to support your development.
