Qualified Nursery Practitioner position available!

We are looking for a passionate educator to join the team in this established nursery The nursery boasts a thoughtfully planned environment, with areas set up with the differing ages and stages of the children who attend. The nursery predominately care for children aged 0-5 years, alongside an out of school offer for children up to 14 years. They have a sensory room set up for the children to make use of, as well as plenty of outdoor provision for recreational activities and outdoor learning.

Working in the nursery you will be allocated group of key children as a Key Person Your role will be to ensure that every child's care is tailored to meet their individual needs, to help the child become familiar with the setting, offer settled relationships for the child and build relationships with their parents. You should have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be able to plan meaningful experiences and enhance children's spontaneous play to support their development and ensure they are happy and engaged in fun learning and following interests during their time in nursery.

The rate of pay is dependant on qualifications and experience. The role is offered with a June start date, however they would be interested to hear from those with a longer notice period as well.

You will be welcomed into the nursery and part of a friendly and caring team. The ideal applicant will be warm and kind, with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to their role. They should love working with children and want to contribute to providing the very best experiences for the children. Ideally you will already hold a full and relevant childcare qualification for the early years or be working towards this.
