Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a private day nursery in Huddersfield to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years Educator.

The role is part-time and day-to-day temporary, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years while delivering play-based learning in line with the EYFS curriculum. Immediate start and on-site work are required, with competitive hourly rates of £13-£15.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months’ experience in childcare.
• Knowledge or understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Willing to undertake training in Safeguarding and EYFS.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and develop knowledge of the Early Years sector.
• A caring and positive approach to working with young children.
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 6 months to 4 years in daily activities.
• Assist with development of learning through play.
• Work within the nursery team under supervision.
• Participate in safeguarding and training as required.

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based in Huddersfield. The nursery provides exceptional care and a range of stimulating learning opportunities, supporting children to develop key cognitive and motor skills through the EYFS curriculum.

The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their team on a part-time, day-to-day temporary basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. The successful Early Years Educator will be eager to develop their Early Years knowledge and take a caring, flexible approach to supporting children’s learning and development.

The successful Early Years Educator will have:

• A minimum of six months’ experience working within the childcare sector
• Knowledge or an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• A willingness to undertake training in areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum
• An eagerness to learn new skills and develop knowledge of the Early Years sector
• A caring and positive approach to working with young children
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning and development
