Job summary

Grosvenor Nursery School & Day Care in Greater Manchester is seeking a permanent Baby Room Early Years Educator for children aged 0-2, starting ASAP. A Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in childcare is required, with a strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness.

Two working patterns are offered: 35 hours across four days (£24,609) or 37 hours across four days (£26,016), all year round with a paid week off at Christmas and New Year.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS.
• Good safeguarding knowledge.
• Previous experience working with babies (0–2 years).
• Passion for delivering high-quality childcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and education for babies aged 0–2 years.
• Support development through play, exploration and learning.
• Attend staff meetings; overtime may be available.

A Local Authority Maintained Nursery School & Day Care

needs a PERMANENT Baby Room (0 2 Years) Early Years Educator to start as soon as possible. Must have a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare.

Either:

35 hours a week Salary Grade B SCP 4 £24,609, 4 days a week 8am 5.30pm.
No set day off as it will depend on the needs of the nursery, may vary weekly.
All year around, paid week off over Christmas and New Year

OR

37 hours a week Salary Grade B SCP 4 £26,016, 4 days a week 8am 6.00pm. No set day off as it will depend on the needs of the nursery, may vary weekly.

We are looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Baby Room Early Years Educator to join our dedicated nursery team working with children aged 02 years. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional early years care and supporting babies through their first stages of development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

You will be part of a dedicated, friendly team providing outstanding care and education for our youngest learners. You will help children thrive through play, exploration, and learning - building the foundations for a bright future.

What you need:
