Job summary

Our Dicky Birds Day Nursery in Raynes Park, London, part of Grandir UK Limited, is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team and support children's learning and development.

You will help children thrive, encourage curiosity, and be part of a nurturing, collaborative environment with excellent progression opportunities. Competitive salary and regular pay reviews are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

About Our Nursery

Our fantastic facilities help support each child’s learning and development by allowing for fun, engaging and educational experiences. We have dedicated areas for arts and crafts, music and movement alongside our all weather outdoor space and lending library. Tasty, nutritious food is prepared daily, support the health and wellbeing of our children.

Our children spend plenty of time outside in the fresh air. What will you be doing
